Intrepid Museum Closing for Renovation

The Intrepid Museum will close to the public on October 1st, 2006 to prepare for needed renovations along with the rebuilding of Pier 86. The reconstruction and renovations are expected to take 18 months to complete, leading to a reopening of the museum in May 2008.

 

I was hoping to visit next summer! :( Oh well, lots of other things to see!

 

Would the pier reconstruction effect cruise travel next year?
