DEBBIE 275 Posted August 13, 2006 Author #2 Share Posted August 13, 2006 Thank you for your reply. I was hoping we could do this. I just do not think I want to "zip', yet I would like to watch . Any Idea the fee just to get in the park? I am sure it will differ from park to park? Thanks
caribbean dreams Posted August 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2006 If you don't want to go on the ships excursion, you can also try ziplining at Paletto Bay, the price is $45pp and there is no enterance fee, there is also a nice covered waiting area at the end of the platforms for the drivers and people who don't want to zipline but i would highly recomend you try it, i was the big chicken of the bunch and was dreading it, but it turned out to be one of the funest things i have ever done, I was not scared at all and by the 3rd line, i was hanging upside down and showing my adult children how to do it., I would have regreted it for a long time, had a chicked out. Don't forget the deep woods off!!
robertscj Posted September 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2006 South Shore is a walk-up canopy and I am not sure you can see him on this one as I have not done this one. One of the others is at www.gumbalimbapark.com and is what they are referring to in regard to the "park." You can see your significant other on the last 3 (of say 14) stations in the park. But these are at the less high sections of the tour. There is a hike below the canopy tour at Gumbalimba but if you don't want to do the canopy you won't probably want to do the hike. Plus a person on a canopy tour would leave you behind. Hang out on the beach in Gumbalimba in a beach chair and keep an eye out for him.
