Pre-Booking Water Taxi in Venice

Has anyone pre-booked a water taxi in Venice from the airport to a hotel. We arriving late and I don't want to have to bother with finding a water taxi but instead I would prefer to know that they are there waiting for us when we land.

We did not prebook and arrived about 5:00 pm. I had no issues at all finding the taxis. There is a Venezia Taxi stand close to the airport terminal exit. You can pay there with a credit card and they give you the boat number. It is maybe a five minute walk, covered, to the dock. In the past there has been a bus shuttle, but it was not operating when we were there this summer. If you google for Venice water taxi there are several operators who will take your pre book.

Thanks for the link but it doesn't affect us since we are going to a hotel and not the directly to the ship
