QM2 Britannia "always available" on the menu?

Does the QM2 offer items always on the menu (salmon, chicken) like other cruise lines?



If I want anything else in the main course do I have to reserve in advance?

We wanted unadorned grilled salmon, plain baked potato, double order of salad greens, and plain steamed veggies the last few nights. We requested them the night before, and they were served to us without a problem. In fact, I requested double salad greens the first night, and the server always served them to me without asking every evening! When my grandfather was on the QE1 and QM1 in the '60's, he had a steak every evening!

Seems to me that grilled chicken, baked potato, and salad were available every night on our last two QM2 cruises. Not as entrees, but as the substitution item. I think they are listed on the menu on the left hand side under the Spa Selections.
