To the carib. st thomas, tortola and bermuda.....any tips?

Our excursion to Magen's Bay in St. Thomas was overbooked so we ended up taking a taxi to Sapphire Beach. It was excellent. Hardly any other tourists and the beach was incredible. Plus, it has Flip Flops which is a restaurant with a two story pool outside. The kids could swim while we waited for our food.

If you eat in Le Bistro ask for the waiter Prince and his asst Neyla. Best staff on the ship!

It's a public beach. There are condos there but it's open to the public. It's at least a thirty minute ride there but well worth it, I thought.

One more quick note - We shared a taxi with another family going to a different beach. The ride was so scary that we decided as a group to stop at whichever beach came first. Sapphire it was! ;)

Take a cab to Megan's Bay. It is gorgeous and not too expensive, including the cab ride.

I was on the Spirit 8 day going to the same ports 8/19. We had a wonderful time. I wrote a review and posted it on the NCL Board. The thread is probably back on page 3 or 4 by now. A few others from the Roll Call also wrote reviews and are probably back there as well.
