Foreign Currency

Does anyone get their foreign money before they go or just do it on the ship? I've been quoted a commission of $8.00 per currency at a couple of places here - what a rip off! Do they charge a commission on the ship as well? Can anyone recommend somewhere that is cheaper?

If you need to get it at all, get it on the ship. We've always used A$.

Get it on the ship. The exchange rate is usually good and my husband is quite happy to change onboard. Believe me if he will it must be ok.

 

They don't charge a fee. The fees only might work out economical if you exchange large amounts. You won't need that much.
