Earliest flight out of Miami

Hi im traveling on the Explorer of the Seas on Jan 28, 2007, we come back on super bowl sunday which is in miami. What do you think would be the earliest flight I could get out of miami.

You could probably make a flight around 11, but the cruise line is going to say not to book before around noon (check the cruise line site for recommended booking times). Getting out of MIA that day will be a lot easier than flying into MIA on superbowl Sunday.

 

If you get to the airport early it is usually only a small change fee to get an earlier flight if one exists, and is much harder to go on a later one in you miss the early one you have booked.

Traffic will be a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend anything earlier than noon.

 

In January 2005 I missed an 11:40 flight out of MIA coming off of Voyager of the Seas, and there was only 1 seat left available to get me home that day.
