The Palms hotel in south beach ?

hello, can anyone help me with these two hotels??? the Palms in south beach and Habana Libre Beach resort south beach. they both look good, but what about places to eat and maybe a drug store or something to buy things to take on the ship with us with in walking distance and how for to the dock are they? any info would be great. thanks so much:confused:
