Shore Excursion for Handicapped?

Recommended Posts

I've been to Costa Maya before but just got off the ship and looked around. I am using a walker right now, and I didn't know if there were any shore excursions that were walker-accessible. I would love to see some ruins, but I don't know if there's a whole lot of walking between the parking place for the bus and the ruins. I also don't know if the ground is level enough for a walker. I'm not interested in lying on a beach.

Does anyone have any shore excursion suggestions? Enquiring minds want to know!

Thanks!

You might check with David/Ivan to see what they say.

From the FAQ on their website:

  • Is it possible to move around with a wheelchair or stroller?

At the service area you'll find all the facilities to move around with wheelchairs or strollers. Once you've entered the site it's possible to get to the first complex without any major difficulties. Under the jungle there are some rocks and roots that may difficult the way.
