Pre-night Hotel?

I was wondering when you stay overnight in Galveston, Texas what hotel does Princess put you up in? Our TA told us the Airport Marriott but then she mentioned another hotel but I forgot the name of it...anyone know?

Thanks!

Last season Princess booked pax into the Galvez in Galveston.

Your TA should be much better informed. Guessing isn't good enough.

Tell him/her to call Princess, or call yourself.

BTW - you may be better served booking the hotel yourself. Both the Galvez and Tremont are good choices, but the Galvez is farther from the port. The Tremont is walking distance and is located in the Strand (downtown) area, much better for shops and restaurants.

You would probably be happier staying in Galveston precruise. There's nothing to do at the airport hotels, and, depending on traffic, it's minimum an hour and a half drive from IAH to Galveston. It's much better to get that over with the day before boarding.

The following link lists the major hotels in Galveston. Select "Historic Strand And Downtown Area" for those nearest the port.
