Skansen or Den Gamle By?

hey Jodi!

 

how long did you spend in Skansen?

 

we only had about 6 hours total in port, and there was so much to see! I think we gave Skansen about an hour or 2 at most. But like I said, we could've stayed for much more!

 

We started at the museums right up the street (the Folk museum and the Vasa), then went to Skansen, and then went to the Royal Palace. The Stockholm pass really came in handy in this city!!!

I was in Skansen at the low season. Most of the buildings were closed, In the summer, there'll be men and women dressed up in period costumes, music, etc, etc.. (from what I read). But because it was the low season when we got there, it was a nice walk, but that's about it. I would recommend spending a bit more time wandering the old town and then the Vasa f you're going after the high season.. check their website for events.
