nikita Posted October 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2006 We've been waitlisted for a mini-suite aboard the Crown on a sailing in Feb. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if you know what the chances are that we can get our reservation?
Toto2Kansas Posted October 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2006 You will have a better idea once final payment is due. That is when cabins tend to open up. So, keep your eyes open right before final payment is due and don't depend on Princess to contact you or your TA, that isn't their strong point. Sometimes I even wonder why they put people on waitlists as they often don't make contact when cabins open up. Keep your eyes open and check out the Princess webisite several times each day is my best advice.
nikita Posted October 25, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Toto2kansas, I went to the websit to check as you suggested and sure enough - there were two mini-suites available so I booked one. It was a higher and thus, more expensive category then the one I had waitlisted but I'm happy anyways because now we are booked and also it is a bigger room and balcony so I think it will be extra nice!!! Thanks for the advice! ( It is room #D304)
