sherwood45 Posted October 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2006 How come the family oceanviews on deck 7 and 8 are coming in cheaper than E1 balconies on decks 7 and 9 on the Radiance? Can anyone answer this - thanks.
serene56 Posted October 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2006 they are trying to sell them. People prefer the opened space of the balcony compared to an inside cabin with windows. Its not on every sailing- but certain ones. Cruiselines will offer a certain cat for a lot cheaper then the other cat trying to sell them off
bovs Posted October 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2006 I don't believe I have ever seen an inside cabin with windows except on Royal Caribbean ships, but I do know that oceanview cabins do go for less than a balcony cabin on the same ship. There is nothing unusual about that.

There is nothing unusual about that. They are comparing the family suites with balcony cabins. Suites have more then double sq footage. Not to be compared with a regualr oceanview cabin
SANDY BEACH Posted October 29, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 29, 2006 Has to be the balcony. IMO any balcony room is worth more than an oceanview, no matter how large it is.
