LaPaloma Posted July 17, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 17, 2004 You will love the Seabourn. We were long time Sea Goddess sailers(14 cruises),and thought that nothing could replace the "old" Sea Goddess. Seabourn does it in spades--the service is great--food outstanding, and best of all the personal touch is there! Each cruise is a memorable experience--the staff will make sure of that!:)
emmylou Posted July 19, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 19, 2004 LaPaloma Thank you for your response. We are really excited about the Seabourn cruise. Are the the passengers friendly that cruise the Seabourn ships,or do they tend to keep to themselves. emmylou
LaPaloma Posted July 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2004 We have been on 4 Seabourn cruises, and found the guests to be friendly and ready to party. I can't say that I have met 1 stiff on 4 cruises. I'll bet by the time you finish embarkation, and life boat drill, you will feel like part of the "group"! LaPaloma Posted July 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2004 Forgot to mention--a geat place to get acquainted quick is at the Sky Bar area when the ship departs--you will find a great group and lots of refreshments--sometimes even some music!!! I never miss the sailaway, and have met some gret people there.

mcboo Posted July 22, 2004 #9 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Emmylou, You will have a great time over Thanksgiving . Should be a nice crowd; but with Seabourn it will never be overwhelming. 200 plus guests never a crowd. Enjoy, relax and have a great cruise. If you are a sweet eater make sure you try the Chocolate creme brulee it's to die for.:o
emmylou Posted July 22, 2004 Author #10 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Mcboo chocolate creme brulee that really sounds yummy. We thought we would try a cruise over Thanksgiving since our daughters are scattered across the U.S. and can't possibly have the holiday with all we decided to not hurt feelings by going to one and not the others and go on a cruise instead.Does that sound logical????? I started a roll call on the roll call section a few days ago so far no one has responded.Do Seabourn passengers use that board to start a roll call or do they use this one??? emmylou
emmylou Posted July 22, 2004 Author #11 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Mcboo chocolate creme brulee that sounds yummy. We thought we would try a cruise over Thanksgiving. We have three daughters and they live all over the U.S. We wouldn't want to visit one for the holiday and take the chance of hurting the feelings of the other two so we decided to take a cruise, sounds logical doesn't it???????? I started a roll call on the roll call board a few days ago so far no one has responded.Do the Seabourn passengers use that board or do they use this board for everything??????? emmylou
