Cancelling Excursions

I took advantage of the advance booking feature to schedule the excursions for our upcoming cruise. We have changed our mind with regard to one of the excursions but it is within ten days of the cruise and no changes can be made. The excursion is on the fourth day of the cruise. Will I be able to cancel the booking once I am onboard? Should I attempt to cancel the excursion by calling before we embark?

When you get onboard, go to the Explorations Desk that day and cancel the excursion and you should be fine. They will credit the money to your Seapass account.

I've cancelled several pre-booked shore excursions on RCI and never had a problem. One I cancelled with two days' notice and the other the day before. They were always gracious, and credited my charge for the cancelled excursion. You should have no problem whatsoever.

You can cancel up to 24 hrs in advance and as it is for the 4th day I would probably cancel on the 2nd day as the desk will probably not be as crowded.:)
