Natanni Posted November 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2006 We are cruising around Spring Break March 24 2007, so I know we are going to be paying more for a room in Galveston TX. Had my heart set on the Harbor house, but wondering if I can do better (either with another hotel or with expedia, priceline, etc) this time of year than $155 + $10 to park on day one, and $20 to park for the cruise. I went through Wyndam hotels to check the price. My biggest question is I had to pre-request the cruise parking when booking this room through Wydham...how does one do this with Expedia, etc? I never saw anyplace to request cruise park? Any suggestions on this topic appreciated :)
okiemom Posted November 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2006 Here are the prices that I found on Galveston.com. The Days Inn price came directly from their website daysinn.com. We are staying at the days inn in 3 weeks and they have free parking for cruisers. I will let you know if you how it was when we return. We just look for clean safe places to sleep for one night so fancy doesn't matter to us. If we were going to stay for any other length of time we would stay at a fancier hotel. IMHO Good luck and have a wonderful cruise! Comfort Inn & Suites on Stewart Beach $113.99* Ramada Limited Galveston $129.95* Super 8 Motel Galveston $109.95* Days Inn $67.96 free parking *Not sure if parking is free or not. RealDeal Posted November 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2006 Do you have AAA? I got a AAA rate of $89 for Feb. 2. Check their site if you do.
