my future DW was less than thrilled with the idea, but I just explained it, kept talking about it, used the "alone time" and "romantic, intimate" angles, and eventually she agreed. Although she is not nearly as excited about it as I am, she has bought into the rasual.

 

like others have said, i would talk about a little quality time and relaxing because it allows for massage between each other.
