Sky Suite in room dining/room service

I seem to remember reading that they bring in sort of a portable table for breakfast/lunch/dinner for that (RS/CS/PH have tables). Is this correct? Anyones experience with this would be very helpfull.

 

Should add this is for M class ships.

When we were on the Infinity last month, Alfred, our butler, never brought an extra table. He used the little glass table in the cabin. He always said it was too small, we always said it was too short!

While we have not been on the Infinity we have been on the other 3 M-Class ships.

 

The little table will raise up to a normal table height -- lift and turn to lock -- they don't like to do it as if you turn the table a little it will drop down to the lower level fast and hard -- Raised it becomes a safety problem!

I thought it raised, but figured there was a reason Alfred didn't do it. He was very good about everything, so maybe the problem was the table.

The situation in the Royal Suites on M-class [as well C-class] vessels is quite different. There is a round dining table which seats four. Our butler would first set up the table exactly as it would be in the dining room, and then serve breakfast and beverages.

 

On Celebrity, the breakfast menu for suites is different from that for other cabins. It is quite complete, and you can even write in eggs benedict, and get them. Our experience on six cruises in RS, was that the hot items arrived hot. Oh, and the coffee delivered to the suite, seemed to be better than that served in the dining room for some reason - not sure why.
