Quick question about docking

Is there more then 1 area the ships dock at in St. Thomas? Looks like Charlote Amallie can only hold 3-4 ships, and on the St. Thomas docking schedule there is sometimes 4 or more ships. Also on the St. Thomas earthcam I believe I see another port deep in the back. What/where is that?

Yes there is. The main one is Havensight which is east of Charlotte Amalie. The secondary dock is Crown Bay, which is west of Charlotte Amalie. Princess will be using this dock quite a bit.

Most people choose to take a taxi from the cruise ship to Charlotte Amalie, as would I.

Havensight can accommodate 3 ships. Crown Bay can accommodate 2 ships (possibly 3). If there are a lot of ships in port, then sometimes one or 2 ships have to tender into downtown. RCCL ships usually dock at Havensight if there is space there. Princess ships now use Crown Bay exclusively which opens up space at Havensight for other ships.
