ONE LAST VANCOUVER QUESTION

Hello all who have been so helpful...Should I even bother renting a car in Vancouver, or would the skytrain be sufficient enough to take us to all the special points, like metrotown(where we are staying), Granville, Downtown and Stanley Park? This is all I need left to finish things up! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are walkers and in shape-skip the car and do the Skytrain and bus. As much as we complain-our transit system really is good. You can take Skytrain from Metrotown right to The Hyatt. From there it is 2 blocks to Robson Street and downhill to Stanley Park. If you get off at Waterfront-it is a couple of blocks to Gastown and Chinatown. Metrotown has a HUGE mall to explore and some places to eat. Have you looked at their web site?

We are in our early 30's, I think we should be fine to walk..It was down to taking the rental car for overnight, and then dropping it off in Seattle...or just taking all the metro system in your city, then getting the amtrak bus the next day back to seattle.... [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]and now I am really excited to find out about the metrocenter website??????????????
