Hotel in Ft Lauderdale

Hi guys! I need the name and telephone number of a good hotel in Ft. Lauderdale where I can stay the nite before my next cruise & leave my car in their parking lot...wanting to avoid the $12/night charge for parking in RCL parking garage.:)

Here's where you need to look, on the East Coast Departures board. There's tons of info here, including threads already started on this topic.

 

Good luck. Hopefully, you don't need a room during primetime (Super Bowl weekend or Boat Show weekend). If not, you'll have a lot of options.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th St. in Ft. Lauderdale, about a mile from the port. We sailed Princess, and were able to stand on our balcony and see our ship before boarding time. Seems like we paid about $170 for four of us, and that included free shuttle to the port, free hot breakfast, and there is an Outback Steakhouse across the street for dinner the night before. Great hotel, and wouldn't hesitate for a second to do it all again!!
