amiduvin Posted January 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2007 My wife and I are booked on the Oosterdam for the Mexican Riviera cruise departing San Diego on January 27. On past cruises, we have enjoyed meeting fellow cruisers. We have heard some rumblings of challenges on the Oosterdam (propulsion, norovirus). We have cruised often on HAL and know them to be a very conscientious cruise line, so I expect them to have the Oosterdam "ship shape." We certainly enjoyed our cruise last summer on Noordam which is a sister ship. We are splurging on a deluxe verandah suite, so really hope it is worth it. Has anyone heard anything one way or the other about the Oosterdam or this particular itinerary? If you would like to meet for a drink on sail out of San Diego, please leave a post.
