St Petersburg best time

We will likely do a cruise to St. Petersburg in 2008. What is the best time to do this?

We were there in late June of 2006. The weather is insignificant compared to the amount of time your cruise will be in port. Make sure you get two overnights with three days for touring. We would go back in a heartbeat....it is spectatular.

We went last August -- lovely weather. Since you're on the Regent website, I'm assuming you'll be on either the Voyager or Navigator. Their itinerary was great -- enough time in St. Petersburg (you may want to check into private tour operators for flexibility). We enjoyed the trip tremendously -- have a particular soft spot for Tallin. Such a beautiful place with wonderful people!
