Late night arrival and taxis

Ok, this probably has been answered on here somewhere, but I can't find it anywhere, so here goes.

We arrive in San Juan at 11:45 PM on Saturday the 20th for our cruise that departs on the next day. Will there be sufficient, and safe, taxi service at that time? It looks as if the taxis are fairly well regulated, I just hope that at that late an hour things will be the same. One of the few perils of living in Western South Dakota, it takes forever and a day to get anywhere.

Thanks..

I've arrived home after midnight several times and there are always taxis available. You won't have any problem getting to your hotel :) . The taxis know the airline schedules (well, not the taxis themselves, but the drivers do LOL) and there will always be some on duty to meet pax. HTH!

Our flight was late and we waited and waited for our luggage that never appeared. Then had to file a claim for lost luggage, so we were the last ones out of the airport from our flight. About 12:30 am, we walked out of the airport and there were plenty of taxis!
