acrna Posted January 25, 2007 #51 Share Posted January 25, 2007 Is there a Sam's nearby? elisa Not as close as Wally world, but quite a few scattered through Houston.
troyphoto Posted January 25, 2007 Author #52 Share Posted January 25, 2007 plus, there's the Lion King Truck Stop right before you get to the port. It isn't as cheap as Wally world etc. but it is the last chance before boarding. Remember, no fridges in the cabins lower than the mini-suites. KayM Posted January 25, 2007 #53 Share Posted January 25, 2007 thanks afor all the info..............we leave this sat..............does anyone know where there is a walmart or walgreen somewhere to get water and soda to take onboard......we bring a duffle bag empty and put stuff in and check at pier no problem......... sure enjoyed your reviews Carol This sounds like a great idea! So...it's "ok" to bring soda and water onboard? Just no liquor? By-the-way..is liquor sold in grocery stores in Texas? (We have state-regulated stores here in PA!) We're sailing on the Dream - 2/3. Hoping to avoid any snow storms and delays!;)
