Iam booked on a cat 8d balconly room on the triumph I was just wondering if this room has a small fridge in it.

also if anyone has any tips for traveling in a carnival balconly room.

I have been on 2 other cruises RCL and Princess both had sliding glass doors this room looks like a door to enter the balcony so if anyone has any tips for staying in a carnival balconly please share them thanks

happy cruising

No, the balcony cabins on the Triumph don't have the mini-fridgerators. Your best bet is to bring along a collapsable cooler and your cabin steward will keep it filled with ice.

As for tips on having a balcony...

1. They're great for being on them when you dock and leave a port.

2. They're great for sitting out on them late at night and early in the mornings with a cup of coffee.

3. Without a doubt, the most peaceful place on the ship other than maybe the bow.

4. Try not to open the balcony door when the cabin door to the passageway is open. It creates a draft that you wouldn't believe.

5. The door can be held open with a bungie cord attached between the door and the railing. It makes the cabin get humid real fast though and puts a strain on the a/c.

6. Never leave anything out there. It becomes a fire hazzard if someone were to throw a cigarette overboard.

7. If you smoke, take an ashtray out there and bring it back in when you come back into the cabin.

8. Your neighbors can look around the divider and see what you are doing if they choose so be careful of what you do and how you dress.

9. They can also hear everything you say so be careful of what you are saying.

10. Most people that say they wouldn't spend the extra money on a balcony have never had one.
