Booking your next cruise while on your current cruise

DId I read on here that if you book your next cruise while you are on a cruise that you get discounts and a low deposit rate??

 

I am going on Sensation in March and was thinking of going ahead and doing this on our cruise, if it was worth it.

 

What are the advantages, disadvantages??

I dont think they have anyone onboard to process new bookings. In the past they did, but there was no advantage to doing so.
