Does anyone know roughly how long the parades usally last? We are landing at Louis Armstrong airport the 17th of Feb at 630 heading to the Hampton Inn Elmwood on Mounes st in Harahan. Would we be affected?

The parades last usually about 45 minutes depending on where you are standing. You shouldn't be in any traffic as long as you stay on Airline Hwy and get off a Clearview. All of the parades are on Veterans Hwy and start at Clearview heading to New Orleans

You shouldn't be affected much at all. The parade will be north of I-10 and you'll be headed south. You might run into some traffic of people trying to get to the parade, but that usually clears up pretty fast.
