Carnival's Deep Sea Fishing in Cozumel

On Carnival.com's Shore Excursion site for Cozumel, under Deep Sea Fishing it says "Please be advised that your catch cannot be brought back on board the ship." Does anyone know if this company ships it to your home? Maybe our group should go with a company who will do this? Do any Cozumel fishing tours ship fish to the US?

That is a cruise ship policy generally. You can take all the fish you want to a local restaurant, I recommend Tony Rome's Embassy on 5 Ave. between A.R.Salas and Calle 3.

 

There are no facilities in Cozumel for this type of packing and shipping, it's very specialized for health reasons.

 

The charters you are considering are generally with a large group of up to six fishermen, so you'll need to take that into account also.

 

Google "fishing cozumel" of "deep sea fishing Cozumel" and see what alternatives there are. Regardless of who you choose, they cannot do what you are asking about, so don't let them tell you they will. Sometimes they will do that and just keep your fish and money.
