I am cruising to Alaska on the Golden May5th, The ship will be coming from the Caribean (I think)... Will the menu change? Do the ship have "warm" weather menus vs. cooler/cold weather climates?

 

What is the usual menu for the GOlden? Buffetts? CHOCOLATE?

 

What about the coffee? I like good coffee. Starbucks to McDonald's (Mc' has new coffee & is one of the best). I heard that the coffee was a syrup based product.

 

Final question: Room Service, what can you get, how ong does it take, pre-order the night before?

 

Oh Yeah... This is my first ever cruise, so everything will be a new expierence. Just want (need) some idea of food and COFFEE!

Hi,

I am also a coffee lover; the coffee in the dining room and at the Lobby bar were very good. If the coffee in Horizon Court buffet were the only coffee available, I would switch to tea. :) I loved all of the food.
