Formal Nights

We are taking a 7 night cruise in April and we have already taken a 7 and a 9 night cruise before. I cannot for the life of me remember if there are one or two formal nights on the 7? I seem to thik 2 but I may be confusing it with the 9 night which I KNOW has 2.

Usually they are the sea days so I am thinking 2...

You are right about the 2 formal nights but depending on the cruise as to whether or not they are on sea days. Ours was on the first sea day but we were in Grand Caymans for the second formal night.

Is there some way you can find out the schedule, prior to boarding, of formal nights?

If I had to guess I would say that your formal nights would be Monday on your first sea day and the second would be either Thursday (Cozumel) or Friday (Grand Cayman). Your second sea day is the day before you arrive in Miami and I just don't see them doing a formal night on the night you have to pack and put your bags out.

I would have to think Cozumel or Cayman.

 

I know for NOS Western, we do not leave Cozumel until 7pm so our formal nights are first day at sea and then Cayman.

We will be on the Grandeur also. We are leaving on March 17 out of NOLA. I am pretty sure the formal nights are Monday and Thursday.

 

We were on Royal Caribbean 18 1/2 years ago for our honeymoon and then we took our boys two years ago on Princess. You will love every minute of the trip!!
