newtocc Posted January 29, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2007 Yes, actually I have sent myself bon voyage gifts, and they were very well received, although this was on the east coast I don't see it being a problem on that other coast, plus, here's a secret, don't tell anyone, you can send yourself a bon voyage gift while onboard, say the ship sails from NY, and it stops in Norfolk, you can call up anytime before you leave the states and still get your gift onboard! If you like this answer, and I know you will, go to my cruise reform thread, and sign up to send money to me because I'm running for President, thank you, thank you very much! tuggers Posted January 31, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I want to ask a question. What is the purpose of this? I have seen this before and I don't quite get it. I might want to do it myself if there is a good reason. I know I have gotten gifts from ta's from non cruise line companies and I never felt they a were a very good value. Gimpster Posted January 31, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2007 It worked well for me. I ordered flowers, and they showed up on time and were delighful. I always do it now - its such a nice touch for the cabin.
