Marigot, beware...

Just a word of advice for cruisers. The shops in Marigot are closed on Sundays. We booked a tour that allowed 2 hours for shopping there and were very disappointed to find all the shops closed. The only shopping was at the outside market which is basically the same as the ones in Phillipsburg. If you are in port on a Sunday, you may want to pick an excursion that doesn't involve Marigot.
