BeardedGuy Posted February 6, 2007 #51 Share Posted February 6, 2007 I wouldn't be such a snob and feel that they were beneath me and undeserving of a reply. A sign of a true gentleman or lady is that he/she treats everyone equally, royalty or cleaner, treat everyone as you would wish to be treated. Only insecure "new money" classes look down on people as if they've something to "prove", mainly to themselves.) Or as was said of Prof. Higgins (by Eliza or Col. Pickering?) in My Fair Lady: "Exactly alike, he treats a Flower Girl like a Duchess . . . and a Duchess like a Flower Girl." pb82 Posted February 7, 2007 #52 Share Posted February 7, 2007 Curious isn't it that the ones who don't wash up when they should are the same ones that treat others like dirt. And they are lousy tippers.
