7 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Nassau, Ardastra and anything else?

We will be in port in Nassau from 7 am til 1 pm in early April. We have read about Ardastra GArdens and want to go there; it opens at 9 a.m. How much time should we allow to get there on our own (by taxi or jitney) see the animals and place, including seeing the flamingos at 10:30 and parrot feedings at 11 am? If we leave there right after the 11 a.m. parrot feedings, do we have time to go anywhere else, like Fort Charlotte, which I understand is on the way to/from the ship, or will it be time to go right back to the boat?

And any suggestions on what to do after we get off the boat before Ardastra opens at 9 a.m.?

Thanks in advance.
