Voyager, 5 hrs in Nassau on Sun. a.m.

We will be in port on Voyager in Nassau from 7 am til 1 pm in early April. We have read about Ardastra GArdens and want to go there; it opens at 9 a.m. How much time should we allow to get there on our own (by taxi or jitney) see the animals and place, including seeing the flamingos at 10:30 and parrot feedings at 11 am? If we leave there right after the 11 a.m. parrot feedings, do we have time to go anywhere else, like Fort Charlotte, which I understand is on the way to/from the ship, or will it be time to go right back to the boat?

And any suggestions on what to do after we get off the boat but before Ardastra opens at 9 a.m.?

Thanks in advance.

There is the straw market but I don't know the hours. The gardens tours is really nice, I did it many years ago and I still remember it. We were on princess when we did it but they combined it with the fort and we kind of nicknamed the the "Forts and Flamingos" tour, does RCCL offer something then you don't have to worry about your own transportation.

If the ship is there until 1 I would be at the ship no later than around 12 or so.
