A friend of ours has given us the phone number of a taxie driver in Barbados. We are calling him to find out his rates. This friend also told us the Highlights are: Orchid World,Wild Life Reserve, Bathsheba,Harrison Caves,Bridgetown,Gun Hill,Mount Gay Rum factory and the Andromeda Botanical Garden. Has anyone else ever been to these places?

We have and they are all great sites except Bridgetown which is the main shopping area. You only need to go there if you want to shop.

Wild life reserve is fenced area with monkeys, deer, turtles that you walk along a trail and see them in the wild. Bathsheba is the East coast of Barbados with rolling hills and lovely views of the Atlantic Ocean. Harrison caves are nice. A guided trolly ride takes you through the caves. about 45min which includes a short movie. Never been to mount gay factory.
