ElNo Posted March 20, 2007 #26 Share Posted March 20, 2007 Hi! My 17 year old daughter and I will be on this cruise. I am definitely looking for some other teens to keep her sane and give me some down time! Does anyone know if there will be a meet and greet for the kids? Also does anyone know if there is anything special planned for Easter dinner? Also, is there a welcome aboard lunch buffet, as our flight gets in at 11:00 and we are going directly to the ship (after our required cab stop at Walgreens or Publix for a couple cases of bottled water). We look forward to meeting all of you!:D
Honbun Posted March 20, 2007 #27 Share Posted March 20, 2007 Okay, just a wee bit nervous after reading the thread about the Canadian teenagers running amok. I hope we don't run into anything like that. Has anyone heard about spring-breakers on our cruise?
glb911 Posted March 20, 2007 #28 Share Posted March 20, 2007 haven't heard of anything like that, but it isn't like they are going to tell us. we can't wait until april 08 though.
Lucy Jane Posted March 23, 2007 #29 Share Posted March 23, 2007 Hi fellow cruisers...... I'll be on this ship with my 2 teenagers. Never cruised Costa but have heard many good things....... I just hope there are a lot of other teens on board......I need a break !!!!! Are there any " meet and greet " parties on this ship ? I just booked cruise last week. The Magica is a great ship. Passport is a necessity. Makes travel easier. Picture id. As far as teens on board, I have found that the farther away from "home" and the longer the cruise, the older the population on board. But there is a great disco for teens to meet with other teens should they be on board. Bon Voyage.
Never too tan Posted March 25, 2007 #30 Share Posted March 25, 2007 In regards to a welcome lunch...there was not anything special planned on last year's Easter cruise, but the main buffet did open at noon. In regards to a special Easter dinner menu, if I remember correctly, the menu seemed to offer at least 4 main courses each night...Easter was the same. We did have a pleasant suprise of a huge chocolate egg from our cabin stewart though. And the chocolate was actually pretty good!
Caesar Posted March 25, 2007 Author #31 Share Posted March 25, 2007 If anyone wants to meet on this cruise, please post. I would suggest Monday, in front of the casino, at about 1000. From there, we can discuss shore excursions etc. Otherwise, have a great cruise.

tedwin3 Posted April 6, 2007 #39 Share Posted April 6, 2007 Okay...here it goes...what I found in Cozumel Mexico is....we can rent a jeep, go to the pyramids at Cobe Mexico. They are not on the tour bus route, are not crowded, are much closer and do-able, are the second largest pyramids in the Yucatan peninsula! Would be great to find another couple to share costs with. You can do a COBA search on the net to learn more. We would limit out time at the ruins no more tna 2 hours. May be and hour to hour and a half drive each way.
