Body surfing

Recommended Posts

I going to be on a Southern Caribean cruise next month (Aruba, Curasao, Barbados, St Martin, St Lucia, Grenada & Tortola) and I would like any information on beaches that have nice waves for body surfing.

Thank you in advance,

Dave

I have been thinking about this question in regards to Aruba since it was posted. There are spots on the eastern side of the island where locals boogie board, surf and wind surf. IMHO, unless you are familiar with these waters I would not venture to try it. It is the windward side of the island and there are signs posted at each beach "no swimming". Yes, the waves are huge, but so is the current, not to mention the coral and unexposed rocks. There have been a number of tourists AND locals who have never made it out of these waters alive.
