Chuck & Phyllis Posted July 31, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2004 ...if we didn't lookat the cruise prices after final payment? The cruise lines are getting smarter at reducing rates in ways to avoid refunds to those already booked. RCCL has been using Categories X,Y, and Z for years now. When we book, we have to be satisfied with the rate we paid for the cabin we got and know that someone paid less than us. Seeing as it's getting more and more difficult to get anything back after final payment, should we bother looking and possibly make ourselves feel bad about paying more? As long as we're happy about the price when we booked, it might be a good idea to avoid it. Other opinions?
