Will The Casino Be Open? Mercury-Seattle/Victoria/Nanaimo

Looking at the Pacific Northwest Mercury cruises this fall and was wondering if the casino says open. The itinerary is Seattle/Victoria/Nanaimo/Seattle.

 

We cruised NCL San Francisco to Vancouver last spring and the casino was closed for most of the cruise as we weren't in international waters.

 

Would appreciate ANY info about these Pac NW cruises from past cruisers.

The casinos and some bars and the shops are closed during PORT times. However about an hour after leaving they reopen. If you are stopping for a brief period for customs and immigration as you would during an Alaskan cruise ( Nanaino for instance....maybe three hours or so ) the casinos are also closed at this time.

BTW: Nanaimo and Victoria are two really great stops. I wouldn't forgo them if the casinos were open:)
