My husband is trying to figure out which nights are the formal nights on the 8-day Western swing. He is thinking it's Sunday and Friday (leaving Saturday and returning the next Sunday). Our port stops are on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so we are thinking the formal nights won't be those days. Can anyone help?

We were on the same cruise over Christmas. The formal nights were Sunday and Friday. Sunday was Christmas eve, so I don't know if that is the normal formal night or if they changed it for the holiday.

Sunday and Friday for us on the 2/17 Western sailing. It's not a "given" that there won't be a formal night on a port day, but it works on Liberty's 8-day Western.
