Nat'l Geograghic special, 3 part

We have also watched the three hours (twice). Because of all the information it presented, we have realized we are totally unprepared to really enjoy the trip as much as we could. The diversity and uniqueness of the fauna is wonderful. I am afraid that Amazon.com is going to be getting several orders from us about the natural history of the islands and the current environmental handling of this unique habitat. We both have said it would be a real personal loss to go on this trip of a lifetime and not know what to expect or how to observe and enjoy what we will see.

Fortunately we do have several months to get ready.

The National Geographic Channel has been repeating the show and probably will do so for some to come. Don't miss it.
