Tips for early disembark?

Recommended Posts

We are cruising on the Mariner in a few weeks and need some ideas on how to make sure we are off the ship quickly. We have to be somewhere (about 45 mins from the port) at 10:45.

My sister has suggested keeping our luggage and rolling it off the ship instead of having it carried off.

Any thoughts out there?

You can now carry your bags off the ship yourself. You have to be ready to get off the ship by 6:15 AM. I would suggest doing this....pack as light as possible and pack bags that pull and stack easily. You will have to go down an escalator and will have to pull them some distance.

If you don't want to do this, I would go to pursers desk with flight info so you get the correct color baggage tags so you are one of the first called off the ship.

We were at the Miami airport at 7:00 AM.
