Iowa Meet and Greet 8/14

Is anyone coming to town for the Fair? I thought this would be a perfect time to try and do an Iowa meet and greet. Anyone from Iowa knows that the Bud Tent is the place to be on the first Friday of the Fair. I'll be there. Anyone else?

I won't be attending as this IA girl is now a Texan! However, when I saw this post it caught my attention since I was raised in Waterloo, IA and lived there until 1997. In 1997 I took my first cruise (Carnival Celebration) out of New Orleans, met the man of my dreams on board and we later married and moved from IA. I've worked for Principal Financial Group for the past 10 years so I get back to Des Moines all too frequently and my family is all still in Waterloo. Always curiuos to keep up with my fellow Iowans! I'm assuming you are both from the DM area?
