dougiefresh Posted April 16, 2007 #26 Share Posted April 16, 2007 Betty, The ships water is just fine. Everyone drinks it at breakfast, lunch or dinner. I agree the water served in the restaurants is great, I suspect it is specially filtered because you don't get the highly chlorinated off taste like what comes out of the tap in the cabins. Perfectly safe to drink, no worries there, but everyone's taste is highly subjective based on what they're used to. We are spoiled with our Culligan osmotic filtration of our well water in Rhinebeck, NY. So therefore we like to drink the bottlled stuff in the room (which is included in the VS and OS which we have had three times on Oceania) and take it with us on shore. Kyana Posted April 17, 2007 #27 Share Posted April 17, 2007 The fact that you can bring your own beverages onboard alcoholic or non alcoholic is big. They only ask you drink your libation in your stateroom. None of the other cruise lines I am familiar with allow booze and like Carnival now don't even allow pop or other non alcoholic beverages aboard. I applaud Oceania for their consideration to their passengers.:)
