Best Laying Out Spot on Spirit?

Will be on the spirit in 3 weeks. We wanted to know the best spot to lay out, we are looking for a spot that is quieter and has some shade as well...any suggestions?

We enjoyed the deck just above the pool. We could still hear the band but it was not as crowded. You may have to go a little farther to the front of the ship for some shade. We are sun worshipers so I can't help with the shade part.

I would suggest the Amphitheatre area by the Kids pool aft. It's horseshoe shape, where you can position yourself for both shade and sun, just by moving around slightly. The Raffles Terraces behind Raffles is usually open in the afternoon, where you can get something to eat and drink without going far. A very nice place to relax and rest free of charge, while watching the smaller kids at the pool, the ship's wake, just like those in the aft facing suites below.

I found a nice spot nice, peaceful, sunny, calm area deck 13.

Great suggestions THANKS! We need both sun and shade because we are such a mixed group...I'm bringing SPF 70 for my fair skin (nothing like being a red head :) ) and another girl in our group has tanning oil!
