Trans-Atlantic Voyage - October Weather

We plan to take a Princess repositioning cruise from Venice to Fort Lauderdale in Mid October. While I realize that Atlantic tropical storms are still a possibility in October, what can I expect --under normal conditions- during our five days at sea? Temperatures warm enough to swim/sunbathe, etc? Thanks for the assistance. willbrook

Hello,

We were on a transatlantic cruise in early November of 2006 and the weather was very nice, and warm enough to sunbathe.

Here is a travel tip for Venice...ride the vaporetto at night and sit outside as the vaporetto goes up the Guideca Canal and the Grand Canal. This is a magical experience.

Hope that this helps.

Fred
