Kid's Crown & Anchor Membership

I registered my kids today in advance of our summer cruise based on a letter from RCI. As such, I'm curious to see what people think of this new "benefit". Any idea what they will be giving out to the kids - free johnny rockets, preferred climbing/skating times, special parties, ... ?

If you have not checked already they did do a big post on the royal caribbean section about this about a month or so ago. The posts were right around when the rumors started coming out and then again after it was confirmed. I think the general opinion was a hope that thier coupon books would have more kids related coupons but no one had confirmed what it would be yet. The only thing that they were told was they would be getting a coupon book.

 

I only know becuase my dad talked about it a lot due to my sister who is 11. I think the offial kick off was this month sometime so we should be hearing first hand from some of them soon if we have not already.

Reports coming back in range from free airbrush tattoos to Johnny Rockets.

 

We couldn't take advantage of it cause we sailed 4/28 - 5/6, only weeks before it took effect.

 

I am still waiting for the membership card for my kids.

I did not know anything about this!! Great news. My DD has been on RCL twice now. It is great to know that they are going to be recognized before she turns 18!! Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the feedback. Johnny Rockets is what I am expecting. I guess the RCI is trying to capture clients as early as possible. It is probably a good idea on their part. I would like also like to see RCI fully merge their frequent cruise program with Celebrity.

We just got back from LOS inagural cruise. We had signed our kids up with Crown and Anchor before we left hoping for some good coupons. They did not deliver anyhing to the cabin so I took my boys up to guest relations and they gave them the coupon book. It did NOT have Johnny Rockets in it, but it did have buy one get one free at Ben and Jerry's, buy $10 get $15 in arcade credits etc... We are gold members, so the higher level books may have had Johnny Rockets in it, but ours didn't. :(
