Question on final payment due date

Can anyone tell me when a final payment is due? I thought it was 90 days out, but my TA told me my final payment is due August 12th for an October 21st sailing which is 70 days. I guess I could just pay at the 90 day mark to be sure, but I'm a bit confused as to why she would tell me a different date.

Hi Clemm !

 

It is 90 days for Holiday sailings, 70 days for 6 night and longer sailings, and 60 days for 1-5 night sailings. I hope that helps !

The final payment dates are as Andy outlined, but some agencies will tack on a few days up to a couple weeks on top of that as a "buffer" to make sure payment is in on time and not risk their clients going into penalty if there's difficulty in communicating for whatever reason around that time.

A few days is fine, but any agency that tacks on a week or more would not be one that would get my business.
